Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Pebble ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Pebble Discord bot and any related web dashboard or services (collectively, the "Service").
Pebble is designed to collect minimal data and only what is strictly necessary for gameplay, configuration, and functionality.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect information that is necessary to operate the Service, such as:
- • Discord User IDs – your unique Discord account identifier, used to attribute gameplay, rewards, purchases, and support requests to the correct player.
- • Discord Server IDs (Guild IDs) – the unique identifier for each Discord server where Pebble is installed. We process Server IDs to store server configuration, apply Plus and Pro licenses, fulfill paid bundles to the correct community, and link checkout metadata from our storefront to the server that purchased a license or product.
- • Other Discord identifiers – such as channel IDs and message or interaction IDs associated with bot commands, buttons, and events.
- • Configuration data – guild-level settings (enabled features, channels, cooldowns, difficulty settings, role locks, event preferences, etc.).
- • Gameplay and usage data – mini-game results, scores, rewards, leaderboard positions, daily claims, participation logs, timestamps, and basic status information about whether actions succeeded or failed.
- • Web dashboard data (if enabled) – if you log in via Discord OAuth, we receive your Discord user ID and the list of guilds where you have sufficient permissions to manage the bot. This is used only to verify which servers you are allowed to configure.
Pebble does not store the following through the bot itself:
- • Full message content outside of interactions with the bot (commands, buttons, forms, etc.)
- • Sensitive personal information (such as real names, addresses, or IDs)
- • Email addresses (unless you choose to contact us directly via email)
- • Payment card numbers, bank details, or billing credentials (these are collected and processed only by Whop, our payment provider — see Section 4)
We do not read or store the contents of normal Discord messages that are unrelated to Pebble commands or interactions.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- • Provide and maintain the Pebble bot and its features.
- • Grant daily rewards and seasonal prizes.
- • Store leaderboard positions and event participation.
- • Manage cooldowns, anti-spam systems, and abuse prevention.
- • Store and apply guild configuration so your settings persist over time.
- • Verify, assign, and maintain server licenses (Plus Subscriptions, Pro Plans, Pro Credits) and fulfill Whop-backed digital bundle purchases tied to your Discord User ID and Server ID.
- • Run seasonal events and mini-games as configured by server staff.
- • Debug issues, improve existing features, and plan future enhancements.
- • Provide light analytics for server owners (for example, top players this season or basic participation stats).
Pebble does not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
4. Where Your Data Is Stored & Third-Party Services
Data is stored securely on the hosting infrastructure used for the Service. The database primarily contains numeric Discord IDs, configuration values, and gameplay/usage data.
We may rely on third-party providers to run the Service (for example, server hosting, databases, logging, or monitoring).
Payments (Whop). All paid purchases for Pebble licenses, bundles, and related digital goods are processed by Whop, our third-party payment and subscription provider (whop.com/pebble-9c41). When you checkout, Whop securely handles payment method data, fraud screening, receipts, and subscription billing. Pebble does not receive, store, or process your full payment card or bank details. We may receive limited transaction metadata from Whop (for example, product purchased, payment status, Discord User ID, and Discord Server ID supplied at checkout) solely to deliver and support your purchase.
Whop’s handling of your payment information is governed by Whop’s Privacy Policy. Pebble is not responsible for Whop’s independent data practices.
Refunds and revocations. Subscriptions and purchases are managed in Whop. If Whop approves a subscription refund, payment reversal, or chargeback, Pebble may receive notice through Whop webhooks and run an automated balance check that immediately revokes linked in-game items, virtual currency, server license tier, dashboard access, or unused Pro Credits associated with that order. This is described further in our Refund & Return Policy and Terms of Service.
We may also disclose information if required by law or in response to a valid legal request.
5. How Long Data Is Kept
Configuration and gameplay data are kept for as long as necessary to operate the Service, keep seasonal history, maintain leaderboards, and prevent abuse.
Log data may be retained for a limited time for debugging and security purposes, after which it may be aggregated or deleted.
If the bot is removed from your server, related configuration data may be deleted or anonymized during periodic clean-ups. You can also request specific deletion (see Section 7).
6. Legal Basis (for EEA/UK users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we generally process your data based on:
- • Legitimate interests – such as operating and improving the Service, keeping it secure, and providing features you request.
- • Consent – where required by law, for example if you explicitly opt-in to certain features. You may withdraw consent at any time, but this will not affect processing that has already occurred.
7. Your Choices & Rights
You have several options to control your data:
- • You can remove the bot from your server at any time via Discord, which prevents any further data collection for that guild.
- • You can change configuration options using the bot’s commands or the web dashboard (where available).
- • You may request deletion of data related to your Discord user ID or a specific guild (for server owners) by contacting us as described in Section 9.
Depending on your location, you may also have additional rights such as the right to access, correct, or erase your data, or to object to certain types of processing. We will honour such requests where required by applicable law.
8. Children’s Privacy
Pebble is intended for servers whose members are old enough to use Discord under Discord’s own Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the minimum age allowed by Discord. If you believe we are processing data from someone who does not meet that age requirement, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Policy.
10. Contact
For any privacy-related questions, requests, or data deletion inquiries, please contact the developer via the Pebble support / community Discord server or using the contact information provided there (for example, the developer’s Discord handle).
